Meet the Owners

We are licensed massage therapists, friends and business owners. We opened Enchanted Revival because of our like mindset to bring a different spa with a higher standard of care to the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
We met during our our time at a chain massage spa. We quickly connected as friends when we discovered that we had many similarities: our European upbringing, holistic mindset, and educational experiences at the accredited Estelle Medical Academy in Skokie where we both received our licensure. It is no surprise that we both independently chose Estelle because of their holistic, European approach to massage therapy. Both of us grew up in European families where natural remedies to health and wellness were paramount and wanted to incorporate that mindset into our ...training. Increasing research provides solid background on what our European ancestors already knew - the amazing benefits massage, cupping, and organic products hold to heal the human mind and body. Estelle offered us an education that aligned with this mindset and was a good fit for both of us.
After working in the massage industry for quite some time and seeing many flaws with the traditional massage experience, we decided to join forces to create something different. Something better. And from that we created Enchanted Revival, one of the few organic and holistic massage spas in the entire Chicagoland area.
We now have a combined experience of 10 years in medical and therapeutic massage therapy. Both of us also bring to the massage table physical therapy experience. Kathie also holds a Bachelor of Nutritional Sciences degree which gives her the knowledge of the chemistry and biology of food and how it interacts with the human body. Coursework included metabolism, cellular-level nutrition and therapeutic diets. Through her studies, Kathie fully understands the relationship of functions of the human body, like triggers to illnesses and how nutrition aids not only the health of the body, but also its healing.
Our choice to only offer organic and vegan products is based on the scientific knowledge that both Kathie and Dede have acquired through their studies. We know these products will help us deliver you a better massage.
